Dear Friends,
This past weekend more than 75,000 Minnesotans marched in the streets of Minneapolis, outraged over the assault on their communities, including the killing of Renee Good and the kidnapping of five year old Liam Ramos. And on Saturday, another brave Minnesotan, Alex Pretti, was publicly executed by federal immigration officials on a busy local street. Minnesotans will not give in. They are standing strong. And we must stand with them.
Pennsylvanians have a vital role to play this week, as the US Senate prepares to vote on an appropriations bill that includes funding for the Department of Homeland Security, encompassing both ICE and Customs and Border Protection. It is essential for our US Senators to hear from their constituents during this crucial time.
Call Senators Fetterman and McCormick: tell them no funding for ICE.
Fetterman’s office number: (202) 224-4254
McCormick’s office number: (202)-224-6324
When you call, please make sure to include at least your name and zip code to let them know you’re a constituent.
Consider showing up to your local Senate office to demand an end to ICE funding.
